Robin Lassiter narrates her book Earth: A Love Story

A journey of becoming fully human
Throughout her life, Robin Lassiter has experienced mystical and otherworldly events including out-of-body journeys, contact with non-human entities, prophetic dreams, and conversations with the dead. She struggled to maintain a normal life while wrestling with experiences that defy reality. She questioned her place in the world, and her sanity. With unflinching honesty, the author chronicles her descent into substance abuse, depression, and unsafe relationships. This is a harrowing journey through the underworld of self, culminating in a profound and joyous transformation. Brave, beautiful and astonishing, Robin’s book urges us to confront our magical, animate world, and invites us into a wild love affair with life.

Lyrical, terrifying, pitiless, and unflinchingly honest—Robin Lassiter illuminates the unfathomable mystery of anomalous experience and the genius of the human spirit.
—Ralph Blumenthal, author of The Believer.

This book is a fusion of what is already all connected, a spiritual and genetic mixing as profound as it gets. In these pages writing becomes a kind of occult practice becomes a kind of healing. The human is here and not here, both watching and suffering. We are not who we are told we are, the author reveals to us. And this all has something to do with death, which is not what we are told, either. Time to wake up. Way up.
—Jeffrey J. Kripal, author of The Superhumanities

Addictive story, I was drawn in!

I learned about Robin a few years back where she recounted her anomalous experiences on a UFO podcast. Her words always stuck with me, something resonated and I was thrilled when I recently stumbled upon her podcast where she had shared her book. I couldn't wait to dive in, and picked up a copy for the kindle.
Earth: A Love Story is an incredibly vulnerable and honest account of Robins journey of healing and personal transformation, and within that, her otherworldly experiences with a phenomena not easily defined. Deeper and more profound than your typical UFO book, with writing so beautiful and poetic, I was moved to tears on several occasions as I made my way through. Robin invites you so deeply into her heart and inner most thoughts and feelings, that it's hard to not feel like you know her personally by the end. And of course for all the UFO fanatics, she recounts all the vivid details on her ongoing engagement with the phenomenon through dreams, out of body experiences, synchronicities, and physical interactions with multidimensional beings. I truly love this book and Robins final message and the dedication she holds to our Mother Earth and her inhabitants. If you've been lead to this page and are reading the reviews, you're meant to read it!

First, full disclosure.

First, full disclosure—I helped Robin with the interior layout and cover design. I’m credited on the legal page.

With that out of the way, let me say that this is an important book. There are a lot of first-person memoirs of contact experiences, but Robin’s story is rich and personal in a way that I can only describe as beautiful.

There is no filter between the author's inner-self and what’s on every page. This book reads like poetry, and it will touch you at the deepest levels. Highly recommended.

Profoundly Beautiful! Highly Recommend if people and their stories are your jam!

Profound, beautiful, transparent, authentic, real, and intimate. Also, relatable. I struggle to put together the right words and combinations of words to describe this book. This journey. This experience. And that is what it was, a journey, an experience, an honor, and a gift. I bought the book intending to read it and discovered that Robin read it aloud on her podcast. So, I listened to her read while I followed along in the book. It made the experience immeasurably more impactful and magical. I have pages of text underlined where things hit deep. I did not want to stop until the story was finished. Yet no story is ever really finished, is it? Thank you, Robin, for your courage and vulnerability. Overwhelmingly grateful.

A companion for waking up
Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2023Verified Purchase

"Earth: A love Story" can be described as "Zen and The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" or Kerouac's "On The Road" for the 21st century. Imagine an ancient prophet born to present day America. With no tradition or training, in a culture that mocks and belittles human consciousness, mysterious visions can get lost, ignored or even turned to madness and violence. But like those prophets, the author's passion for the truth pushes the reader forward. She stays grounded even as she ascends to the heavens. The book is a companion for waking up, an antidote for despair and an aid against spiritual bypass. I recommend it

a story that comes to life

As I read Robin’s story, I had to stop many times to journal. Her words stirred memories of my own and brought to the surface experiences that echoed her’s. The expansiveness of this mystery we are sharing is daunting, overwhelming and sublime. I’m grateful for the words that stimulated my own memories. I suspect that there are a number of us committed, at a soul level, to this transformation. Thank you, Robin for your courage, it is needed.

A Beautiful Memoir Of Strange And Spiritual Experience, And Of Life In General
Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2024

I listened to the audio reading (by the author, who read it beautifully by the way) of this book on her podcast (of the same name) recently, and it was easily one of the most profound and heartfelt and beautifully written works that I've come across in recent times, and not only in how she talks about her strange and spiritual experiences but about her life in general up to this point (she's close to my age, early 40s), sharing with great honesty and vulnerability and thoughtfulness as well as good humor and heart, so perhaps even skeptics of such paranormal and metaphysical experiences as hers could at the very least appreciate her book because of the richness of her life story and the skill with which she tells it...
But I for one believe her, and believe others who have had similar experiences.
There may be more to our world and our universe and to us than many of us were taught, and I think Robin's book is one signpost pointing to that reality, and I am glad she found the courage to share it

I went into the book not knowing much about it, and I'm glad that I did, as I'm not sure I would have picked it had I known... it was incredible. The story, the details, and the unexpected visitors changed my thoughts about being human. I've never heard of these experiences with outer-worldly beings, described in such detail and with such honesty and vulnerability. I hope Robin keeps writing...
